Duplicating your place platform

  1. Go to solo mode or edit mode on your place.
  2. Now click edit if it is not already on.
  3. Then click edit in the Toolbar and click the button that says Unlock All.
  4. Now click on your place platform
  5. Then click edit on the Toolbar again and click the button that says Duplicate
  6. There you have it an exact Duplicated platform!
  • You have to anchor it if it's not already anchored and you also have to put it in place and lock it

Larger area (bigger flat base brick)

This is the easy one. simply go into your place and...

  • Place a new brick. Doesn't matter what color, it just has to be a simple brick.
  • In the toolbar (when you are in the Roblox Studio) there is one button called Resize. Click on it and several blue circles will appear around the brick you selected. Click and drag on one of them to make it stretch in that direction. you can make it very long, but there is a limit.
  • When you are satisfied with the length of your brick, look at the explorer window on the right side of your screen. Click on your block, and one of the little icons in the explorer window will highlight, and in the properties window, lines will appear.
  • Scroll down to the bottom of the properties window, and look for a line that says "form factor".
  • Click on the value (probably "brick") and a little downward arrow will appear. Click on it, and three more selections appear.
  • Click on "Plate". Your block in the world will now flatten.

Now your brick is there, now we have to make sure it doesn't move at all, or your world will come crashing down.

  • In the toolbar, select the tool Anchor, with the little anchor symbol.
  • Click on your model, and the little anchor icon will change to an anchor with a red no symbol on it. That means the block is immobile, it can't move.

Now the block can't move. That's good, but people can still click on it in your game.

  • Click on the Lock tool, the little lock, and click on your model.

There, the plate is locked, no-one can move it or select it. Now you have a safe little platform for building on.

Larger height

Essentially, this should not be a problem, but if you are building a city in the "Building Space" map, then you may find the ceiling a bit cramping. It is easy to get rid of it, if necessary.

  • Click on the Lock tool.
  • Click on the ceiling.
  • Select the Drag tool.
  • Click on the ceiling again.
  • Hit "Delete" on your keyboard, and it should go away.

There you go, no more cramping ceiling!

Step-By-Step

1.Go into your place and open tools.
2.Go into all models and Type In "Main Ground Base" [That's the actual base and no colour change and no size change]
3.Click on any one of them but if you want the one i always use. Then Go to "Grey`s" Models.
4.Go to edit and click "unlock all" [ This unlocks the base you just added and the main base you start with"
5.Use your grab tool in the "Tools section" [NOT INSERT]
6. Move it all the way to the side and make sure its off the main base but touching it. And equal with all sides. Now Just Move onto the newer main base and If you are using tools from all models use your "Copy tool" and copy the base you started with.

Hints- 1. To make it easier to find the base you started with, make the bases different colours until I'm done making it bigger.
2. Try not to delete something instead of move or copy.
3. To get one of the best bases for making it bigger go to all models and type in "Grey". Search through his models until you find a model called "Main Ground Base".
